It’s a big step for us here at Dad Man Trading – and yep, we’re feeling all the nerves and excitement! For the very first time, we’re putting ourselves out there in the real world, away from the screen and into the heart of the community.

So what’s the occasion? We’re thrilled to announce that Dad Man Trading will have our very own stall at Yarrabilba’s 2nd Annual Christmas in July celebration!

Held at The Buzz Yarrabilba Community Centre on Saturday, 19th July 2025, this magical event – brilliantly organised once again by the dedicated Sue Cooper-Haboeck – is expected to be bigger, better, and more festive than ever. With over 1,500 locals turning up for the inaugural event in 2024, this year promises even more joy with live performers, jumping castles, food trucks, and a huge variety of stalls featuring small businesses from all around the region.

Until now, Dad Man Trading has only operated online through our website dadmantrading.com and a few local Facebook groups – so this marks our very first foray into the wonderful world of community markets. It’s a bit nerve-wracking, but mostly it’s incredibly exciting to be meeting our customers face-to-face for the very first time.

Our humble little hobby business was started to give one physically disabled bloke a creative outlet – and a way to bring some smiles to others by offering fun, affordable goodies during a time when the cost of everything just keeps going up. What began as a small idea has now turned into a vibrant collection of 3D printed toys, articulated dragons, dice rollers, and other quirky creations made with heart.

We’ll be set up right inside the hall, near Santa’s Cavern (because of course we’re keen on staying close to the big guy himself), and we’ll be showcasing all your favourites – including our ever-popular Articulated Dragons, clever little toys, and a growing range of new items from the brilliant designers we continue to discover.

Whether you’re after something unique for a gift, shopping for a little one, or just in the mood for a bit of festive fun, we’d absolutely love to see you. So come on down, enjoy a fantastic day out with the community, soak in the Christmas spirit (even if it’s July!), and be sure to swing by and say g’day.

Here’s to new adventures, great company, and the joy of doing something different.
